Below are maps and directions to the Arizona Rio Salado Vizsla Club training events. Please contact us before the event if you need further information.


Event Directions

Robbins Butte Wildlife Area Event Site

The Robbin’s Butte Wildlife area is just south of the turn off to Buckeye.

We will have our famous orange signs out to guide you to the training grounds.

  • Take I-17 south to I-10 West
  • Drive about 28 miles to Exit 112 - Hwy. 85 South to Yuma
  • Drive approximately 7.5 miles and turn right at the sign to Robbins Butte/Powers Butte Wildlife Area. This is a dirt road. Drive about 0.3 miles and bear left at the Y. There is a sign with an arrow to Powers Butte
  • Continue about 2.5 miles until you see a sign directing cars to the parking area

Smith Tank Event Site

The Smith Tank Site is just North of Parks, between Flagstaff and Williams

 

We will have our famous orange signs out to guide you to the training grounds.

  • Take I-17 North to I-40
  • Take I-40 West approximately 17 miles
  • Take Exit 178 North on Garland Parks Road
  • Turn West at "T" for Old Route 66
  • Continue West on Old Route 66 approximately 1/2 mile
  • Turn North on North Spring Valley Road
  • Continue on North Spring Valley Road for approximately 12 miles (Pavement ends at 5.7 miles and turns into Forest Road 141)
  • Turn West on Forest Road 88
  • Continue until you see Forest Rd 135 and turn S
