Vizsla Event Directions

Below are maps and directions to the Arizona Rio Salado Vizsla Club events. Please contact us if you need further information.

Robbins Butte Wildlife Area Event Site

The Robbin’s Butte Wildlife area is just south of the turn off to Buckeye.

 

We will have our famous orange signs out to guide you to the training grounds.

 

  • Take I-17 south to I-10 West
  • Drive about 28 miles to Exit 112 - Hwy. 85 South to Yuma
  • Drive approximately 7.5 miles and turn right at the sign to Robbins Butte/Powers Butte Wildlife Area. This is a dirt road. Drive about 0.3 miles and bear left at the Y. There is a sign with an arrow to Powers Butte
  • Continue about 2.5 miles until you see a sign directing cars to the parking area

Dugas Road Event Site

The Dugas Road Site is just East of Mayer

 

We will have our famous orange signs out to guide you to the training grounds.

 

  • Take I-17 to Exit #268
  • Go East approximately 3 miles
  • Turn North on Forest Road 9650R
  • Continue on Forest Road 9650R approximately 1/2 mile to gate (please close gate after entering)
  • Turn Left at "Y" in the road
  • Continue approximately 1/4 mile to parking area

Pine Hill Event Site

The Pine Hill Site is East of Mormon Lake

 

We will have our famous orange signs out to guide you to the training grounds.

 

  • Take I-17 to Exit #339 (Lake Mary Road Exit)
  • Continue on Lake Mary Road approximately 25 miles
  • Turn East on Forest Road 125 (Your will see a sign pointing to Kinnikinick Lake)
  • Continue on Forest Road 125 for approximately 5 miles
  • Turn South on Forest Road 82
  • Continue on Forest Road approximately 1/10th mile, you will see our famous orange Vizsla Hunt Test signs directing you the parking area

 

Note: Lake Mary Road is paved; other FR's are not paved, but suitable for passenger cars in most weather

Red Tank Event Site

The Red Tank Site is just North of Parks, between Flagstaff and Williams

 

We will have our famous orange signs out to guide you to the training grounds.

 

  • Take I-17 North to I-40
  • Take I-40 West approximately 17 miles
  • Take Exit 178 North on Garland Parks Road
  • Turn West at "T" for Old Route 66
  • Continue West on Old Route 66 approximately 1/2 mile
  • Turn North on North Spring Valley Road
  • Continue on North Spring Valley Road for approximately 7.5 miles (Pavement ends at 5.7 miles and turns into Forest Road 141)
  • Turn Right on Forest Road 194
  • Continue on Forest Road 194 approximately 1.5 miles (Keep left at FR194 "Y")
  • Turn Right (East) on Forest Road 786
  • Continue on Forest Road 786 for 1.8 miles
  • Turn North on Forest Road 734
  • Follow our famous orange signs to parking area

Fues Hill Event Site

The Fues Hill Site is just North of Williams

 

We will have our famous orange signs out to guide you to the training grounds.

 

  • Take I-17 North to I-40
  • Take I-40 West approximately 29 miles
  • Take Exit 165 North (Williams/Grand Canyon Exit)
  • Turn North on AZ-64 N
  • Continue on AZ-64 N 1.9 miles
  • Turn East on Garland Prairie Road (Forest Road 71)
  • Continue on Garland Prairie Road (Forest Road 71) for .8 miles
  • Follow our famous orange signs to parking area

Smith Tank Event Site

The Smith Tank Site is just North of Parks, between Flagstaff and Williams

 

We will have our famous orange signs out to guide you to the training grounds.

 

  • Take I-17 North to I-40
  • Take I-40 West approximately 17 miles
  • Take Exit 178 North on Garland Parks Road
  • Turn West at "T" for Old Route 66
  • Continue West on Old Route 66 approximately 1/2 mile
  • Turn North on North Spring Valley Road
  • Continue on North Spring Valley Road for approximately 12 miles (Pavement ends at 5.7 miles and turns into Forest Road 141)
  • Turn West on Forest Road 88
  • Follow our famous orange signs to parking area
